It’s a monologue about the stuff that lies just off the edge of our tongues. It’s a girl standing next to a Port-A-Loo holding a smashed up iphone. It’s a friend trying to comfort a friend with language she doesn’t have. Because words aren’t enough to express grief or fear or sadness.

You have up to 3 minutes.

A monologue about love. In any or all of its forms.

We want to hear a voice. Your voice. For Love Bytes as part of The Voices Project, for Fresh Ink, Australia.

You can win a place at the Fresh Ink Studio, taking place in September (or January if you are under 18): a week of writing, led by some of the best playwrights in the country.
